- Is it useful to preventively clean our sewers?
Sewers preventive unblock prevents blockages. Like any system in your home, regular maintenance ensures durability. Getting to work with a pressure washer yourself is something we strongly advise against because you damage the pipes by putting them under pressure. Our techniques used do not put pressure on the drain pipes, are officially recognised and do not harm your health. - I will soon start a renovation. At a renovation we recommend using your pipes via endoscopy mapping in order to avoid later problems. Start soon with a new-build project? Then keep your sewer plans carefully to easily fix any repairs in the future. Leaks can be recognised by dripping taps, mould or moisture stains on the walls, air bubbles or noises in the central heating system, pressure loss... Depending on the types of pipes, we tune our leak detection method to the situation and we repair without any breaking. - What causes leaking pipes?
Water is the major cause of leaks. Depending on the composition and temperature of the water, the wear and tear process is faster. Pipes without coating show signs of corrosion after the first 2 years and this then leads to leaks . So an informed man/woman is worth two because large leaks cannot be repaired by our system. - Isn't it better to replace drain pipes?
Speaking of lead pipes, we recommend replacing them as they are harmful to your health (Read the article from the Nieuwsblad about it here). This is, of course, an expensive business.
